Sport


Sport is one of my great passions! The challenge, the resilience, the overcoming, the achievement and, all the emotions and relationships that emerge from this process.

 

For 15 years I was a sports manager, a function I combined with my profession as a cabin crew member. The interactions with my peers, coaches, athletes, parents of athletes and all the other support elements that sport requires, combined with my curiosity, directed my focus to study various forms of intervention in sports.

 

Today, I dedicate myself exclusively to what makes me happy, what motivates me and gives meaning to my life - Personal Development and Sports Coaching.

 

In the work I do, my aim is for the people I support to acquire tools that will be useful in all areas of their lives, both now and in the future.

 

In everything we do, when we are aligned with our identity and our values, what we experience become easier, clearer and bring us satisfaction and personal fulfilment.

 

In sport, results depend on the ability to use the mind effectively, self-knowledge, the ability to manage emotions and to build appropriate strategies aligned with the individual. Each of the intervening parties - coaches, athletes, officials and parents/companions of athletes - has a role to play, which contributes to the progress and effectiveness of the final result.

 

On the competition field, the results of technical and physical work are often well below the athlete's potential and the training reality.

 

The work of Coaching with NLP, Mindfulness and tools of Positive Psychology, promotes superior mental strategies that help the athlete to learn more and better, and to execute, more often, their performance using their full potential.

 

In this ‘game’, coaches and athletes must live their sporting career, aligned with their identity and values, and work in a positive and consistent way, to enhance their strengths and achieve their goals.

 

Managers and parents have a crucial role in emotional stability, consistency in the work to be developed and in sponsoring the self-esteem, commitment, dedication and resilience of athletes and coaches. Working together, aligned and in harmony, promotes conditions for better results to emerge.
