Mindfulness

Mindfulness is entering into the stillness of the being, away from the unconscious mechanism of the chain of thoughts, emotions and successive behaviours in which we usually navigate.

Mindfulness is the here and now. Without judgement, without mental constructions, in the purity and authenticity of one's primary experience.

As the reflective and self-reflective beings that we are, we function with our focus engaged in successive mental constructions of judgements, conceptualisations and interpretations about ourselves, others and our environment. The present moment escapes us and, over time, we create habits and patterns that become installed in our neurological system, which become rooted in our way of being, feeling and living, without our having any perception or control of them, sometimes throughout our entire life.

The practice of mindfulness gives us back our ability to focus on the moment and to unconsciously and effortlessly find a space of stillness where, in each event, we can choose better, free from the onslaught of reactive emotions and thoughts, misaligned with our essence and which generate behaviours that are unfavourable to us, create unease and cloud our decision-making power.

Through regular mindfulness practice, we can change the course of our autopilot and install in our neurological system a more authentic, more serene and more constructive way of being in life. We can choose how and where we want to go. We can choose to respond, rather than react. We can Be and Do in harmony.

The contribution of Mindfulness practice in the 3 Pillar Method, will allow you to:

  • Connect with your true essence;
  • Develop the ability to observe with awareness and clarity what is happening to you and around you;
  • Find the space between stimulus and reaction, where your freedom of choice lies. Have more serenity in the face of events that arise in your life and better emotional balance. Response replaces reaction;
  • Feel gratitude and compassion by opening your heart to events and people, including yourself. Feel that life has meaning and purpose when we have the capacity to be grateful for what we experience and when we help others;
  • Transform and reorganise your nervous system, at the highest level, creating new neurological pathways that allow you to develop self-awareness, adaptability, empathy, self-motivation, increase focus and unleash creativity;
  • Increase communication between the left and right hemispheres of your brain, which provides you with increased mental health and cognitive performance, improved memory and relational connection;
  • Increase the sense of well-being and personal fulfilment.

Change is possible! You just need to be curious and willing to learn new ways to connect with yourself, others and the world around you.
